Finally started covering up a tattoo I scratched on my shoulder shortly after my 15th birthday (almost nineteen years ago). It's still very far from done, but here's a picture or two taken shortly after sitting on Friday night. You can still see bits of the old crap underneath.
My initial drawings / idea in its infancy -vs- the current state of affairs:
Outer arm: pseudo-geisha/whore and snake
Inner arm: damaged male skull in their wake
I guess I don't need to elaborate much on the meaning. Sword and blossoms for border and continuity. More to add over/around the shoulder later for anatomical flow.
And yeah, I know I cant draw to save my life, but having my own concept was a lot more important to me than having a well-drawn version of something generic and overdone.
